Final Fantasy Type-0 // Square Enix

Square Enix tasked us with familiarizing gamers with the franchise offshoot Final Fantasy Type-0, a different kind of Final Fantasy boasting a diverse cast of 14 characters, each with their own unique personalities and combat abilities. So we created the interactive “platform-breaking” Twitter Battle in partnership with Amazon. Each week, we introduced two new characters that fans could control in massive-scale online battles with other players - all via their tweets. Each (public) tweet directed a battle action in real-time, engaging fans on-site and posting to their personal feeds, increasing the program’s reach leading up to launch.
